🚨IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO MY AMERICAN CUSTOMERS (all other customers are unaffected and can ignore the following):
Today (Wednesday Apr 30) is the last day temporarily for mail outs from RSR into the USA…but if you saw the last live you already knew that.
So, 1) what does this mean? 2) for how long is USA shipping paused? And 3) can you still purchase as normal during this shipping “pause”? These are the big 3 questions I keep getting and here are the answers:
- As there has been a 145% tariff imposed upon certain goods entering into the USA (including ours) we have been forced to pause shipments into the USA. (After all, who would be able or willing to pay that?! I get it…we get it.) Therefore there is no choice but to pause shipping into the USA until those in power either lower the tariff or let the de minimus stay in tact…but we will not know that until May 2 (this Friday).
- The pause length is unknown but as I have been deeply invested in this and keeping up with ALL progress…my guesstimate and HOPE would be that this will be worked out within APPROX 4 weeks. So that is what I assume the pause will be close to give or take a few…as this benefits NO ONE and I am hopeful that will be seen sooner than later.
- Can my USA fam continue to purchase and shop was normal? YES! I will continue to have drops as normal and as scheduled- I won’t stop you from getting what you want and shopping as normal - all I ask is patience in me getting it to you while we pause & ride out the tariffs. (If you have a Canadian family member or a mailbox in Canada or elsewhere we can always ship it there for you as an option if you like in the meantime).
We can be slowed down but never stopped!! I promise you that and I will do EVERYTHING I can to figure this out for you even if it means I take a loss. All I ask is for approx 4 weeks (hopefully LESS!!) to allow those in power to get things sorted so that we can all resume with life as normal.
Lastly, thank you so much for ALL of your love and genuine support. You will never know what you all mean to me and to my 2 sons. This is our life and you all have become so deeply a part of that. I promise to work so hard to find fast solutions for us all and if at the end of the day a loss still needs to be taken then I will be the one to do it, not you, my customer.
